Port Royal is a wonderful town with lots of scenic views. One of our latest and nicest spots to view all sorts of wildlife is located in area of this geocache. Enjoy your walk while you search for the geocache. The geocache is located near the boardwalk (away from pond side). so you will not have to get close to the gator. DO NOT ENTER THE GATOR POSTED AREA. Please respect the wild life.
Open from dawn to dust, Cypress Wetlands can be enjoyed in Port Royal, SC. The boardwalk takes you over the wetlands to give you a wonderful view of a variety of local wildlife and plants. It is a very educational trip around and over the natural-like habitat area. You may forget to look for the geocache while you are watching the gator, birds, and turtles. Do not worry, however, because you will find the geocache near the boardwalk. Have fun observing the area while respecting the habitat. DO NOT ENTER THE GATOR POSTED AREA
