This cache has been archived.

Ade3: As per previous log.
Gone again I’ve ran out of puff to keep it going!
Thanks for the finds notes DNFs favourites etc.
This was a resurrection of an earlier cache of the same name if anyone wants it I’ll willing pass the details for another resurrection.
Cheers
Ade

Geocache Description:

Located in Wells City Centre, parking available at or near co-ordinates. Easy terrain, but will take a bit of investigation and maths.

Welcome to the Smallest City in England.

This cache could be difficult to complete without anyone seeing you on a Wednesday and Saturday, although is by no means impossible – just be careful in choosing your “moment”.

The area of this cache is in the nicest part of Wells, and is the part that attracts most tourists, so you can visit all the major sites easily enough. This multi-cache starts at the above co-ordinates. There is parking at these coordinates, but could be difficult to park here, you may have to park up to about a kilometre away. Sundays are probably the quietest day in this car park.

At the above co-ordinates, find out what number the shop/cafe/wine bar (it’s been a few things lately!)is next door to the Bishops Eye (the ancient gate)?

Use the number in A,B format and substitute into the next co-ordinates.

N51, 12.529 W002, 38.6(A+B+B) (A+B+B)

At the above coordinates, you will find a bench with an interesting plaque on it, using the number as “C” (so you now have number A, B, and C), calculate the following co-ordinates.

N51, 12.60(C) W002, 38.68(B+C)

At the above co-ordinates, find out when Patrick Reynolds Mitchell was the Dean of Wells from and to, substituting the dates as follows D, E, F, G – H, I, J, K and calculate the following co-ordinates to get the final cache position.

This will take you to the actual cache position. Good luck.

The Final Location will be found by calculating ,N51, 12.(F-B)(D+G)(G-B) W002, 38.(F)(H-D)(J+A) as of 16/08/13

This cache replaces the previous cache that the CO was no longer maintaining and would have been archived when the time came for any maintenance. I thought this would of been a shame so I volunteered to adopt it but the CO did not respond so. The reviewer suggested I make a new one and change the title a bit and then it will carry on in this slightly new guise. Old log here here
