Tethered Pelican case in an area with parking, paved sidewalks and mostly easy access.
Florida native plants have a distinct advantage in the landscape of our South Florida environment. They tend to stay where you plant them and not spread rapidly. They grow well in South Florida and most importantly, once established, they do not need irrigation.
This cache (a small pelican box) is situated amongst all kinds of Florida friendly plants, bushes and trees. Look around and see fire bush, slash pines, java plum, sabal palmetto, coontie, saw palmetto, muhlygrass.
Did you find them all? Which of them was our cache closest to?
(Note that some of the photos show the cache in it's old location. New location as of 12/18 as our former tethering tree was knocked down with Hurricane Irma)
