This cache is hidden near Paradise Garden lean-to on the Finger Lakes Trail. Just follow the white blazes, you'll get there, and start your search from the lean-to. It's a good place to stay if you're backpacking on the trail. It's also a good place to stop for lunch if you're just out for a day hike. I happen to be a Trail Steward for this part of the trail. This means I'm responsible for the maintenance of the trail in this area including the lean-to. I hope you enjoyed the hike to this spot. I'm not sure if I'm a hiker that geocaches or a geocacher that hikes, either way it's good to get out on the trail.
The cache is an ammo box starting out loaded with items that may be useful to a hiker. Especially if you're staying at the shelter. You can either trade these items as usual or use them at the lean-to and leave them for the next hiker.
