Geocache Description:

This geocache is on an Maine island. MITA.Org supports coastal island and mainland picnic and camping sites. Kayaking the ocean waters is exciting, but you need to pick your days and tides carefully. The safest travelers will wear & use the proper gear. Go for a beach landing and paddle in calm waters. This is a wonderful island for picnics, camping for MITA members and scenic walking trails. Have Fun and be Safe! Please remember to practice Leave No Trace - lnt.org.

Look for a plastic water-proof container. In the geocache you will find: GeoCaching Site information sheet and for logging visitors; a Beatles CD; one 64 MB SD Memory card with files; smudging Sage; pewter Peace Sign charm; Final Four souvenir pin; pack of matches; pencil; bottle opener; mini flashlight; marine flashlight; feather; and a few pieces of sea glass.Have Fun and be Safe!
