As some of you may know, one of my other hobbies is map-related; I just love old maps and plans, especially of famous cities.

Sometimes I just search the internet for them, but occasionally I buy them online; when I do, most of them come from the United States, as there are a lot of map enthusiasts over there and they get delivered through USPS, which is a very reliable postal service. As for the maps I found on the internet, if you're interested in this matter, just let mw know, and I will gladly share whatever I have found.

As I was closely examining an old map of the city of Rome (and when I mean old, I mean a map showing Rome in the time of the emperors) I stumbled on a very strange ... well... I don't know how to call it... er... sorry... I guess you'll have to figure it out.

Could it be the top secret code Morse had devised for the military ? Could it be that someone recently hid something in the map using modern tehnology ? I bet the americans have something to do with it... Don't know why, but I have a strange feeling about this...

Enjoy.

sharkx.

P.S. Special thanks go to "Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde" guys; without your very special cache/event I would have kept on hibernating... geocaching-wise ;)
