St Anne Island View
This cache is placed near a look out viewpoint that I happened to find by pure chance!
There are stunning views of the Eden Island complex, the new marinas and obviously, as the name suggests, of St Anne Island and the nearby Cerf Island. In the distance there is also a good view of Praslin and le Dique Islands as well. Immediately below the viewpoint is one of the dams that supplies fresh water to parts of Victoria.
The cache is totally accessible with a saloon provided caution is exercised. The turn-off might come upon you suddenly so I have given a turn-off waypoint and a parking coordinate as well. I would suggest you place the turn-off into your GPSr and approach the turns with caution - either from Victoria or from the East Coast direction.
I hope that you enjoy the views as much as I did. A truely awesome location.
Do no attempt the retrieval with "flip-flops" on. The rocks are quite steep. I would recommend sturdy shoes. The final retrieval might not be 100% kid friendly either.
