Geocache Description:

Join us for a Flash Mob to celebrate 12/12/12, the last date singularity this century.

Where:  Jack Poole Plaza at the north foot of Thurlow St - you know, the one with the big Olympic Cauldron in the middle of it.

This is located close to Skytrain, Seabus, and buses.

The Olympic Cauldron remains as a legacy of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic games and is lit for special occasions.

Unfortunately, I don't think our Flash Mob will qualify.
We will have to do the hard work ourselves.
Please bring your biggest, baddest flashlight, your camera flash, or download a flashlight app for your smart phone.

Starting at 12:00 noon see the person standing in front of the information sign at the posted coordinates.
Pick up a strip of paper that will act as the log for the event.
Put your caching name on it, hang on to it.

Walk around the plaza randomly without making contact with others.

At 12:12 PM there will be a signal - perhaps a Flash

This is your signal to turn on your flash device and gather in front of the cauldron continuing to flash
Drop your log sheet into the container at the side of the pool.

At 12:15 there will be a draw from the container for FTF and draw prizes.

We will then disperse back to our normal lives
