Welcome to High Leadon Green and Common Land. This cache forms part of a number of caches in the area. This could be a cache-and-dash if you didnt have time to stay and do the walk or other caches in the area. Be careful of the muggles who loiter in this area.....be sneaky....The name of the cache should be enough clue for you to find this macro cache.
This magnetic nano geo-cache forms part of a number of caches hidden by Millie and Grace who regularly visit the local area when staying with their Grandparents. The cache is situated along the route of High Leadon Green hidden walk. The High Leadon Green project was established by local residents with aim of restoring High Leadon Green to its former glory for the benefit of the wider public and local residents. The land is all common land and is registered under the CRoW Act 2000 as such. The caches along this route have been authorised with the kind permission of the project members - the local residents. Parking is available on Upleadon Road - please do not park on the Main Gloucester to Newent road or in the Petrol Station.Whilst you are in the area - why not look for our other cache - A Bridge Two Far. This cache has a plentiful supply of goodies and contains a map showing the various walks around the common. Be sure to bring a pen/pencil so you can sign the log! Why not take a picture of all the peoples feet in your group and post it on the log - that way we know how many people have made use of the walk! Parking is available on Upleadon Road - please do not park on the Main Road or in the Petrol Station.
The walk will take approximately 25 minutes to complete (short walk) or 35 minutes (long walk). In wet weather you will need a sturdy pair of boots or wellies. Some small parts of the walk are near the main road so care should taken at all times for your safety. Remember to keep little ones close at hand.
