My friend, Efb01 is almost at her milestone 1000 cache so I wanted to hide this one while I got the chance!
Efb01 was the person who introduced me to this great activity. We train our dogs together and while doing so, we get to wander around beautiful and sometimes difficult to navigate wilderness terrain. I thought this cache would be an appropriate reflection on this activity. It is placed at a wonderful hiking location called "The Glen". There is some good history at this location if you wish to look it up.
You are looking for a large sized golden geocache. Not at all a difficult hide. Use your geosense and you will find it! While looking for it, enjoy the many trails, hills, and forested raviens that this location has to offer. There are also other geocaches for you to find while here! There is a good sized parking area located at the trail head, which is adjacent to a main road.
Lots of room in this cache so feel free to leave small to large items. The cache may not be completely waterproof, so plan ahead if you are leaving something that may be affected by moisture. There are a few "gold coins" and #1000 tiles for the first few visitors to take.
