Geocache Description:

I have been wanting to hide a cache here before the restoration. The fences finally came down, so now is my chance! This is a beautiful park to relax in under a tree and while taking in the scenery.

"The Colorado Lagoon is historically part of the greater Los Cerritos Wetlands. Once a thriving ecosystem that encompassed most of East Long Beach with borders that included portions of what is now California State University, Long Beach, the Wetlands complex totaled about 2400 acres. Today it measures about 13 acres, with many area homes situated on historic wetlands." (Copied from the Friends of the Colorado Lagoon: http://www.coloradolagoon.org/history.html)

Beware the eyes of muggle-golfers waiting to tee off on the 9th hole. Please replace the cache exactly as found.
