Farm to Market Road 455 or FM 455 is a two-lane, state-maintained highway that connects five adjacent counties in north central Texas. Cities serviced by FM 455 include: Montague, Forestburg, Sanger, Celina, and Pilot Point. FM 455 also forms the southern boundary of Lake Ray Roberts in Denton County (the road crosses over the dam).
A farm to market, or ranch road is a paved road that connects rural towns to market towns. Many of these roads offer an eerie beauty that interstates or state highways can't match. I would like to expand this into a series so comments and suggestions
