Farm to Market Road 1749 or FM 1749 is a two-lane, state-maintained highway. It connects the farming areas near Forestburg with SH 101 at Sunset in far south central Montague County.
A farm to market road or ranch road is a paved road that connects rural or agricultural towns to market towns. These roads make it easier for farmers to transport their goods to market towns. I enjoy traveling these roads much more than interstates or state highways because of their eerie beauty and beautiful scenery. I would like to make this into a series, so comments and suggestions are welcome! Congrats to Team chili fries for the first to find! As a previous cacher stated, there could be muggles in the area so please be aware. This cache is on land that has been in our family for years and the owner is aware that it is there.
