THIS PARK IS ONLY OPEN FROM SUNRISE TO SUNSET. This is a Letterbox so the final contains a rubber stamp and stamp pad for you to mark your personal logbook should you desire to do so. This will be a short walk of under a mile and is extremely kit friendly except the last few feet to the final.
You should be standing just to the right of the large "Egret Park" sign and to your right are the park rules. Read the rules. Begin your journey by proceeding down the asphalt path to the SSE. You should pass to the right of a few picnic tables and should shortly thereafter see a small lake off to your left. Continue along the path past the end of the manicured grass until the asphalt path ends. Ahead and slightly to the right you will see a large concrete block with two wheels on top. Walk about 60 feet past the left side of the concrete block and you should see a drainage ditch ahead where the west end is covered with grey rocks. When you get there you will see a large corrogated pipe extending through the rocks. The cache is directly underneath the large drainage pipe.
After you are finished signing the log be sure to replace it where you found it and place some rocks back to block the cache from direct view.
