Located on the Narrabeen Lakes pathway. The cache is hidden on the new cycle/footpath bridge across Deep Creek.
This excellent path has been upgraded substantially in recent years, including this bridge and the raised walkway going West. It all comes to an end at the Sydney Academy of Sports, although I note that they have put up signage and assigned some dedicated routes across their land to the golf course. There has been a public right of way across Cromer Golf Course for years enabling walkers and cyclists to circumnavigate the lake, but despite years of dispute the various parties have yet to come to an arrangement for a proper construction of a path to complete the loop.
As I cycled through today, a bloke and his kid asked me if I'd copped any verbal abuse from golfers. I hadn't, but he said his young son had! Let's hope that the council is soon able to build a path that keeps people safely away from the golfers and their ballistic words and orbs!
Cache is the same colour as it's unnatural surroundings. Only contains a log and pencil. Please be careful to hide the cache out of view.
