SMF#5 - The end of the road Traditional Cache

Rufus_Stone: Removed the cache before building work starts. At the same time checked on the locations of all of our Mindarie Caches (As we have moved and haven't been near them in over a year). If you followed this series and failed to find one here's the update:

SMF1 - The series of posts that this was hidden in has been removed by the council
SMF2 - was hidden in the end of a log - cache missing
SMF3 - behind a bush near a black boy - cache missing
SMF4 - retrieved. Will relocate somewhere soon, as we know this container was a favourite!
SMF5 - retrieved.
This Pond Rocks - Cache missing.
Don't Splash Yer Boots - Looks like the council refashioned the fence - cache missing.

Note: there were NO other trackables in SMF4.

Geocache Description:


MSF#5 - the last in a series of 5 caches near Mindarie South foreshore and dunes. This is a micro and the the last on your journey if doing the series. It brings you back to civilisation, but if you drove here to do the series you'll either have to go back the way you came, or take a route through the housing estate (sorry I didn't think far enough ahead to make a circular route - I may add to the series in the future to achieve this). The terrain is based on pathways through this area, some hard, some sand - we found that bikes don't like the sand, so if you bring your bike, you will probably end up pushing it at some point. Parts of the route are quite steep in places.
