Geocache Description:

Way back in 1944 the human race figured out how to send rockets into space. By the time the clock rolled on to 1961 they advanced to a point where they could send humans into orbit around the Earth. Then on July 20, 1969 Neil Armstrong's crackly voice echoed all around the world when he became the first Earthling to set foot on the moon… "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
Space Shuttles were sent into space regularly during the 80s and the 90s. We even have a Space Station in orbit out there somewhere. And just the other day we marveled at our own genius when we landed the Curiosity in the Gale Crater on Mars.

But the Martians were way ahead of us. They have been traveling through the Universe for many centuries now, been to the furthest corners of the Galaxy. They even landed on Planet Earth many times already.
Governments all over the world try and keep these visits from our Space Neighbours as secret as possible. Rumours exist of military installations where Space Ships belonging to beings from the Red Planet are held, but that could just be conspiracy theories for all we know.

But then again, if somebody from Mars decides to land his Space Ship right in the middle of Manhattan Square, he should expect his craft to be confiscated, shouldn't he?
There is one Space Ship that landed on Earth that is just so far away from anywhere, that no one even noticed it though. It landed on a most inhospitable and remote mountain. No one knows when it touched down, or what happened to its occupants. But through all these years it sat there, on top of the mountain, abandoned and weathered.

Very few Earthlings will ever be able to visit this old and battered Space Ship. Only the brave and the mad will dare to set out on this grueling journey.
Crazy enough? There are a few things you need to know.
