Geocache Description:

Renishaw was established by the Crookes Brothers in the early 1800's. The town has a long history and has not changed very much in the last 100 years so it is a worthwhile visit to the past.

You will need to make your way to the little town of Renishaw. Some good dirt roads will give you access from the freeland park side. The level bridge crossing the Mpambinyoni River is currently washed away so you cant approach Renishaw from the Scottburgh side. There is good signage leading to the Chapel and its position is very prominent. The locals are protective of their historical little town, so please be respectful and non-intrusive. The old stone chapel has stood in its place for generations and is a wonderful and well kept historical gem.
