Tom’s Canyon Trail Series #7 - Weeping Wall

This is the 7th and last of my Tom’s Canyon Trail cache series. This is as far as you can go on the trail. If you went the entire trail and cache series you are rewarded with a spectacular weeping cliff wall and lush riparian vegetation.
The trailhead and parking location is at the following coordinates: N 37̊ 03.074 W112̊ 31.183
The entire trail, from parking area to this cache is about 1.75 miles and is sometimes steep and rough.
If you don’t want to hike the entire trail, there is another access point for this cache. In the La Estancia subdivision, go to Rainmaker Road. At the end of the pavement, there is a dirt road that continues up Tom’s Canyon. The coordinates for this point: N 37° 03.366 W 112° 30.980
You can no longer drive this dirt road. Instead, park here and walk about 1/2 mile to another trail head. From this trail head it is it is about a ½ mile hike to the cache.
It is in a narrow canyon and GPS is sometimes a little iffy in these situations, although mine seemed to work fine. But just in case, I’ve included a couple photos of the cache spot to help you find it. You must scramble up the hillside to the East to reach it.
The container is a pill bottle with log only so BYOP.
