gladstone8: It is with regret that I am archiving this one...with 27 fave points and being something that took some time and money to construct, it is a shame that it has been damaged beyond repair...just came out this morning to check on it and discovered it's parlous state...trudged back to the car with it cursing!

Geocache Description:

Thanks to Fungimanforager for this inspired idea... To obtain the log book you need to manipulate the container so that it comes out of the obvious exit hole...you then sign the book...the log book contains a code to enable you to unlock the lock, unscrew the top and insert the log book container back into the tube...relock the top please!

One of a small loop of caches which celebrate the historical significance of the area. Of course the local villages have been occupied for a significant period of history.
