Come to Soddy Daisy - to Geocache!
Our family lives in the subdivision next to this, and we watched as a developer started to clear this piece of property for a future subdivision, but like many other things, these dreams went up in smoke (at least for now) when the economy crashed. Since then, the only real activity we’ve seen up here has been the occasional 4-wheeler. Once, while hiking up here, my youngest found a tree formation that he likes to call “Will’s Tree”, and the cache is hidden nearby. Once you arrive at ground zero, the name should make sense.
If you park near at the parking waypoint, you will find a short path that leads you to the cache.
The cache container is a small (1/2 cup) Rubbermaid container covered in camo duck tape.
