Here you see a photo of markings that archeologists from Virginia Tech have discovered, but they have yet to understand the meanings of the carvings into the stones.  Experts believe that these formerly lost markings are the keys to a geocache placed by the remnant descendants of this ancient culture.  Your task is to decipher the images to find the asterisks of 37.****** and -80.****** which will reveal the geocoordinates for this cache, as verified by the Geochecker listed below.  You will need to convert the coordinates to the degree and minute format to check them. Walk on the Paw-Paw trail going easterly until you see a stone in the middle of the path and a large, old tree on your left, with ivy growing at its top. From there, exit the trail and go on up the hill to your right, following your GPS geocoordinates you deciphered beforehand.

(How did the ancients know what geocoordinates were? To this day, we do not know.)
