Kalispel Campground Traditional Cache

Just before you get to Oden Rd . . .
Don't even try looking for a campground. It has been many years since the Native Americans used this area as a campground. This is now a 300-acre segment of the Pend Orielle Wildlife Management Area and is a protected habitat for thousands of waterfowl, shorebirds and other wildlife. There is an eagle's nest on Fisherman's Island and Canada geese fly to get to the north side of the slough.
WARNING!: Watch for the usual muggles, but more importantly, some of the cashes are very close to the Highway. Please exercise all caution and common sense when searching for the caches. If you have young children with you, take them by the hand--keep them and yourself safe, please!
This cache went missing and is now replaced with a new cache located 25 feet southeast of the listed coordinates. It may not be an all-season cache, depending on the depth of snow.
