Cache owners have the option of specifying attributes for their geocaches. It helps to describe the cache better at a quick glance. Once attributes are specified, these are displayed as icons on the cache page. For example, those interested in dog-friendly caches with a scenic view can simply look for the corresponding icons. Premium Members can automate this by using that information as part of a specific filtering mechanism called a Pocket Query. Cache owners, you can set attributes by using the "edit attributes" link from the Navigation area of each of your cache pages.
Attributes are a very important part of a cache page, they let the finder know some key information.
As a finder the attributes are like little hints to aid you in finding the cache. Knowing what the attributes mean is a must.
Is the cache winter friendly, Do I need special tools, Is it kid friendly are just some of the important information you can get from attributes.
Do YOU know your attributes ???
