Shale Pieces Traditional Cache

Located on the scenic Armstrong Trail along the Allegheny River. See additional waypoints for public parking. The trail runs along a state road here but it is not wise to try to access the cache from there as cars really do fly on that road and there is really no berm. Please observe all trail rules. Placed with permission from the Armstrong Trail.
The cache gets it's name from all the pieces of shale rock in the area. Trail into cache is level and only .3 mile from public parking at Templeton. Room for small tradeables.
