This cache is in Heritage Park. The original container was decorated with doodles. Currently, the replacement cache is a small Kool-Aid container. Please conceal it again when you're done. It is big enough for small TBs.
This cache was placed with permission from Lauren Auteberry of the Champaign Parks District.
There is a small parking lot just off of Bradley Ave. Take the paved Greenbelt Trail south past the lovely lake on one side and burbling creek on the other. Enjoy the ducks and geese! Eventually, that sidewalk will meet another coming from a subdivision just before a cute little bridge. For a shorter route, you can park on the street - Parkway Condominium. Then, it's almost a PNG!
Interestingly, when I placed the cache in early November, I noticed thistle and honeysuckle in bloom! I don't know what you might find at other times of the year.
I've started the cache with a cool geocoin that needs to get moving again. Other items include a key chain, flag pin, Norwegian Kroner, stickers, and various other baubles. FTF can have his/her choice of reward; others please swap items, as usual. Have fun!
