The Narracan Falls Reserve is a quiet reserve offering a car park, picnic tables and open fire places. The falls are within a very short walk from the carpark. We highly recommend that you save the cache to an offline list as the phone reception is very poor in the area.
We placed the cache after recent rains and were lucky to see the waterfall flowing so well. The grass was a bit overgrown and we found the best track to get to the base of the falls was past the first picnic table. Once at the Narracan creek, there are tracks along the creek to explore. The cache is a small systema container. We always carry some salt in case of leeches. (There were leeches amongst the wet foliage). Congratulations jimmymaff and Fredd01 for joint FTF and Nautilus for photographing the cuddling possums.
