Cache is not at the posted coordinates
but it is where you land on Santa Cruz Island to be able to collect the information you need to find this cache.
The final is in Ventura County, somewhere in the Conejo Canyons or Wildwood Open Space, I think (~ 38 miles away) 
There are no physical caches on Santa Cruz Island, only waypoints at which you observe and record, and once you have all the information, do some manipulations. If this is your first trip out here, there are also two Virtuals and an EarthCache on the island.
To get to the first part of this cache, you need to travel to Santa Cruz Island (to Scorpion Anchorage), but you have probably already scheduled your trip, and you are checking to see what caches are available. For trip information see the related web page, above, which also describes hiking on the island.

To calculate ... First visit the Stages 1 & 2 below. At each waypoint you should be standing in front of the radiator of a piece of farm equipment, emblazoned with the name of the manufacturer. Record these names as the first and second words. Each name will have between 8 and 12 letters.
To be recognized as a true finder, also visit Stage 3 and record the information.
Next, form a sequence of ten letters following these instructions:
1 = The 1st letter is the first letter of second word
2 = The 2nd letter is the next to last letter of second word
3 = The 3rd letter is the last letter of first word
4 = The 4th letter is the seventh letter of first word
5 = The 5th letter is the sixth letter of first word
6 = The 6th letter is the sixth letter of second word
7 = The 7th letter is the next to last letter of first word
8 = The 8th letter is the third from last letter of first word
9 = The 9th letter is the fifth from last letter of second word
0 = The 10th letter is the third letter of first word [this letter represents zero (0) ]
These letters form a recognizable phrase. Having already numbered the letters of this phrase in solving for the word, plug the numbers into the coordinates above to get the final location. You can also plug the coordinates into Certitude below to get confirmation and an additional hint
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
NOTE: The existence of a coordinate checker means that one doesn't necessarily have to visit the island to get to figure out the coordinates of the final waypoint. So, to make it interesting, there will be two FTFs - one for the cacher who visits the island and obtains the necessary information there, and one for the cacher who brute forces it using logic/insight/luck and the coordinate checker. There is currently a gold dollar coin in the cache for each - the true cacher, who visits the island, can also get a $5 gift card if they visit stage 3 and send me the requisite information via e-mail.
