The Shibakawa building is modern architecture built in 1927.
While, because of the location of the inner city, neighboring historical buildings are demolished in sequence by development, the Shibakawa building continued being still built with the completion and the figure which hardly changed and was appointed in the registration tangible cultural property of the country in 2006.

芝川ビルは、1927（昭和2）年に建てられた近代建築です。
市中心部にあり開発により周辺の歴史ある建物が次々と取り壊される中で、芝川ビルは今も竣工時と殆ど変わらない姿で建ち続け、2006年には国の登録有形文化財に指定されました。
