Geocache Description:

A matryoshka doll, also known as Russian nesting/nested doll, refers to a set of wooden dolls of decreasing size placed one inside the other.

Modern artists create many new styles of nesting dolls. Common themes include floral, Christmas, Easter, religious, animal collections, portraits and caricatures of famous politicians, musicians, athletes, astronauts, "robots" and popular movie stars. So why not have a cache related matryoshka.

Since the 1990s matryoshka dolls have been facing a downward spiral in production. The production of matryoshkas is done by highly skilled craftsmen who pass down their skills generation to generation. As factories shut down there is a fear that there will be no one left to learn the skills, so the knowledge could be lost.

OK, so you are not looking for wooden dolls, but the containers are close enough.

Below are two pictures I took while placing the cache. The first one is the view from GZ and the second is of some very pretty fall leaves growing within a few feet of the cache.
