Geocache Description:

Located in a section of Raceway Woods called Snuffy's Prairie in West Dundee, Illinois. This multi-cache will require you to take a short hike (roughly 0.5 mile round trip) along a mowed path through Snuffy's Prairie to collect clues that will open a lock to the cache log. Enjoy!

Cache *IS* located at the posted coordinates. However, you must visit four additional waypoints to find the code to open the cache log.

Welcome to Snuffy's Prairie! This prarie restoration is every bee's dream. Did you know there are over 500 species of bees in the Midwest?! Wow! Bees eat pollen and nectar and prairie restorations and prairie remnants are great sources of food for these insects. As you walk around the prairie, you will notice some posts of wood with holes drilled in them. These are called "bee condos." Most native bees are solitary and do not build hives. Some of them lay eggs in cavities. These condos provide a safe place for these bees to lay their eggs.

To log the cache, you must visit the four waypoints provided.  At each waypoint, you will search for a number that you will need to open the cache log. You may not log the cache without the code!

The site is NOT accessible off of Sleepy Hollow Road. Parking is available on Hickory Ave. (from Huntley Rd, take Ranch Rd or Oak Ave to Hickory).

Leashed dogs are welcome at this park.
