Geocache Description:

The "Lisha Kill Preserve," owned by the Nature Conservancy, is a rare example of an old growth forest in a developed area. Some of the trees (Eastern white pine and Eastern hemlock) are estimated to be well over 200 years old. Lisha Kill is a local favorite and offers an easy walk in a beautiful forest along and over small streams. The cache can be found right along the Red Trail which leads on to a very busy four-way trail junction. BYOP.
