You are seeking a traditional hide, a lock & lock stocked with a variety of items. The cache is located at the beautiful Choptank River Lighthouse. The cache is available 7 days a week. However, the facility requests no night caching.

The Choptank River Lighthouse is a replica of a six-sided screwpile lighthouse that guided mariners along the Choptank River for generations. The replica was completed in fall 2012. The lighthouse is normally open to the public for free, self-guided tours, 9am-6pm daily from April through October. Off-season, visitors can see the lighthouse by appointment by calling 410.330.8016.

Laid out in 1684, Cambridge is one of the oldest towns in Maryland and was once part of the Choptank Indian Reservation.

Cambridge was designated a Maryland Main Street community on July 1, 2003. Cambridge Main Street is a comprehensive downtown revitalization process created by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development to strengthen the economic potential of select cities around the state. As a result of this initiative, and an influx of tourists to the region, Cambridge is experiencing a revitalization of its downtown business district, part of which was designated as a historical district in 1990.

Nestled on the Choptank River, Cambridge is rich in fishing heritage and has a national reputation for high-quality seafood. Cambridge is home to many annual festivals and events that attract tourists from all over. Some of these events are the Bay Country Festival, Seafood Feast-i-Val and the Cambridge Classic Powerboat Regatta.

The Town of Cambridge thanks you for visiting!
