This cache is started at the Zion cemetery as a project for the students at Zion Lutheran School in Plainview. The cemetery was started in 1889 on land that was donated by a member of the congregation. The first church was about a mile west of here. In 1913, another church building was built in town. The current church was built in 1967 in the same block and still serves the congregation. The congregation has a daycare, preschool, and the school for K-8. The students encourage you to drop trackables in this lock n lock cache. When you log your visit, please include your home town and state. Please do not climb on the fence.
