Geocache Description:

Mini mint tin with only room for log. Bring pen or pencil. Easy park n grab.

Eurystheus sent Hercules to capture the Erymanthian boar. Hercules left his bow and arrows behind, knowing that he would probably kill the boar if he brought them. As Hercules was travelling in search of the boar, he visited Pholus, a centaur friend of his. They ate food and drank wine that was the property of some other centaurs. The other centaurs found out and attacked Hercules; a giant battle ensued. Hercules escaped and found Chiron's cave. Hercules asked Chiron how to capture the Erymantian Boar. Chiron replied that the best way was to drive it into the thick snow of the mountains. When Hercules found the boar, he drove it up the mountainside into thick snow and caught it. He wrestled with the boar for hours, until it stopped fighting and cooperated with him. Then Hercules brought it back to Eurystheus who cowered because he was frightened of it. All were amazed to see Hercules' control over the boar, for now it was tame.
