Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden opposite the entrance to Ringwood Cemetery, and was placed by scouts from 3rd Ringwood Scouts Group. LOG BOOK IS WET, BUT WILL BE SORTED SOON...

"3rd Ringwood Scout Group is a fun place for children 10-14 years old. You get to do a range of stuff from fire lighting to gliding in the summer. In the winter we sing songs around a fire lit by Paddy, one of the scout leaders. The 3rd Ringwood Scout Group was formed in 1954, and has been meeting at the concrete hut in Eastfield Lane since the early 1960s. For one of their evening activities, geocaches were placed a short distance from the hut. This is one of the first four placed. Ringwood Cemetery is found on Hightown Road, right next door to Ringwood Junior School. It was opened in 1864, and is set in 7 acres of wonderfully and lovingly maintained ground. There is a side gate, just to the left of the main gates, which are locked each evening, so don't get caught out if you park there...could be a spooky night! To find this cache, you do not need to enter the cemetery.
