This cache is not for everyone as it involves over a one kilometre walk, (unless you come by boat) and on occasions some wading. It will be best enjoyed in summer but should be accessible in winter. It maybe advisable to check the tides beforehand .
Don't be put off by the comments above because it is a delightful and interesting place to go. I doubt many have explored this spot, even though they may have lived their entire lives in Perth. The cache very easy to find and not like most of my hides, as it is not camouflaged. It contains a pencil, and log and please do not forget to leave the pencil, as it is a long trek back to get another one. It is all about the experience rather than the hide.
