Geocache Description:

THIS CACH IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
FIRST YOU MUST SOLVE THE PUZZLE

I placed this cache very near where some friends and I built a tree fort.  Things have changed here quite a bit in the last 30 years though.  I also wanted to honor the Veterans of this Country and place a cache on Veterans Day.  So I created a puzzle cache based on Forts from the Frontier days of the country.  Shouldn't be too hard, so enjoy.

To find the coordinates to the cache you need to solve the following puzzle.  Find the number for each letter (0-9) and put them into the final formula.

A= Fort Clatsop
B= Fort Dalles
C= Fort George
D = Fort Harney
E = Fort Klamath
F = Fort Laramie
G= Fort Umpqua
H= Fort Walla Walla (3rd one)
I= Fort William
J= Fort Yamhill

You are looking for a small container with a micro hidden within.  The coordinates should get you to within 5 feet or so.  There is a bit of bushwacking involved and the crossing of a ditch.  Depending on how much rain there has been the water might be a bit high.  I checked it out after we had some rain and was still able to get to the cache.  But time will tell.  I suggest wearing boots.  There is also a short walk involved in reaching the final.  Enjoy the hunt. BYOP as cache is too small for a writing utensil so bring you own.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

Congratulations to the appropriately named Northwesttreehugger for FTF.
