Another in the series of caches placed to celebrate our great choice of supermarkets – or is it to give us something to do when the rest of the family are frantically shopping?
Aldridge is a reasonably compact little shopping centre with a selection of large and small shops, a choice of banks, several charity shops and maybe too many take-aways. Most parking is free – but watch out for time restrictions.
The cache is placed on the outskirts of the shopping area and is reasonably easy to get to although wheelchair access to the cache is not possible. Geokids will need to be supervised carefully as there is a water course not far away and also a busy road to cross – a nearby pedestrian controlled crossing will help. The location can get wet underfoot and it can be surprisingly busy at times.
The cache is a magnetic micro (35mm) - you will need to provide your own pen.
