Welcome to Desbarats!
We're from SSM in the cold north of Ontario and we travel to and from southern Ontario fairly often. While we're driving, we usually stop in a few different towns along the highway for gas or treats or bathroom breaks, so we figured we'd hide a cache in each of these areas near the welcome signs or the signs stating the name and the population
This container is a cammo'd fruit salad jar full of tradeable items (hopefully lol). If you are heading away from Sault Ste Marie, you can pull off the highway on the right side, onto the wide shoulder to park. Take care to make sure you are well off the road. When you are finished with this one and if you are traveling south, you can pick up more in Bruce Mines and near the Elliot Lake turnoff, Blind River and Espanola as well. If you are driving in the other direction - don't forget to grab the Echo Bay one!
This one is most likely not winter friendly unless there's only a bit of snow...
