Geocache Description:

Another cache to seek out on a walk around this village and although the cache isn't at the seat you could have a rest here if you so wish.

From the cache site take a look across the road where you will see the village Millenium Stone with the large horse chestnut tree behind which is usually decorated at Christmas although not always in the traditional manner.
If you then look down Fore Street you will see Faldon  (not to be confused with Haldon)  looming above the village and this is where the beacons were lit to celebrate both the Silver and Golden Jubilees of Queen Elizabeth II and no doubt many other great occasions before that.
Unfortunately this can be a high muggle zone at times, so please do try to retrieve and re-hide the container carefully.

Please bring pen/pencil          NB.Wheelchair users can reach GZ but may need help to actually retrieve. The large horse chestnut tree has since been felled as it was found to be diseased.
