Geocache Description:

This geocache is part of the CCC - Legacy of Conservation GeoTrail. Will ARCHIVE July 26, 2016.

Each cache has a self-inking stamp that you can use to mark a passport. Fill the passport (available at Parker Dam, Lyman Run, and Sinnemahoning State Parks) and earn a trackable CCC GeoCoin.

The Vocational School at Williamsport, Klump Academic Center, was dedicated on November 4, 1914. The vocational school operated from 1914-1941. It led to the founding of Williamsport Technical Institute (WTI) in 1941. WTI became the foundation for one of Pennsylvania’s first community colleges and was renamed Williamsport Area Community College in 1965. In 1989, the community college became an affiliate of Penn State and was formally established by PA legislation as Pennsylvania College of Technology. This school will celebrate its 100th year anniversary in 2014!
