Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the "To Cache A Murderer" Series, W&OD Trail edition, and centers around one of the suspects in the case. The full "whodunit?" is written up in this final cache.

Everyone who frequents the W&OD trail knows SoaringSteed. You might call her friendly, you might call her ferocious, and you might be right either way. She is a hardcore mountain biker, and when she can't get out on the dirt, she takes her signature hot-pink resistance fixie on the asphalt. The bike is designed to simulate a 40-degree grade climb through mud, and she can still maintain 8-10 mph on the trail.

She and Felicia Flats have been friends for years, and train together often; at least, they did up until a few months ago. That's when things got a little tense. Flats starting petitioning for a new law banning all bicycles on the W&OD before 10am, and SoaringSteed took it personally. Very personally. She would never stoop to cross-train on foot, and needed those morning hours to fit in sessions on the grim Fandango Assault, a vicious multi-surface loop that includes a stretch of the W&OD. Steed had been unmistakably infuriated, but few thought it was anything more than just her hot temper. Until now.

When you find the cache, note the color of the container color of the lid of the container. It's a clue towards the final puzzle in the series!

This cache has been placed with permission. Be sure to abide by the W&OD Regional Park rules, and do not attempt the cache after dusk.
