The twister that came down on Regina like a wrath, happened on June 30, 1912. It started somewhere down town and tore a strip northward through the warehouse district along Smith and Lorne Streets. This sculpture shows the map of its destruction. This little green space has benches and planters as well.
According to the Warehouse District Community Organization, this park space is in a transition of being revamped. Progress may be slow but it is happening. What this means to you, is it looks terrible now. However the cache is still hidden the same. We will update this description as the “renovation” progresses. No change as of Aug 2019
