Overflow Spillway Traditional Cache

A short, little walk near Chatuge Dam to highlight a lesser seen area.
While wandering the one day we found this place and thought it would be a great spot for a cache. There is a gated gravel road on the left just before you get to the Chatuge Dam parking area. Park there and walk in on foot, it's only about .1 mi. to GZ. While it's possible to bushwhack a slightly shorter distance, it's worthwhile to take a few more steps and enjoy the spillway. There's no need to cross the fenced area onto the spillway itself! At the closest point, bushwhacking is only necessary for 40 - 50 ft. You are looking for an ammo can filled with goodies.
