This cache marks a trailhead, located across the street from the campgound. Parking and bathrooms are close by.
Coyote Lake-Harvey Bear Ranch County Park is your destination for this cache. Come on out and check out the nice scenery here and maybe have a picnic. Or better yet, come camping here. Coyote Lake has a nice campground and miles of hiking/bike/horse trails. And of course, a beautiful lake. $6 to get in, or a County Park Pass. If you don't have a pass, just tell the Ranger you want to drive in and look at some picnic areas for an event you're planning. Chances are, they might let you in for free (especially during the Winter months). The park is open for general day use from 8 am to sunset. As you drive along Coyote Lake Road, you will enjoy wonderful views of the lake and hopefully, enjoy the caches placed along various points on this road!
