Located at a place where flesh eating Zombies may dwell...haha.
Cache is .6 of a mile south of "downtown" Walnut Grove.
Cache is a BIG honkin' plastic bottle..haha.
Altho the container is big, the mouth of it is real small, so it may be hard to fit in various swag items, TB's or geocoins, unless all the above is real small in size.
Cache is real easy to find BUT a word of CAUTION......getting to and from the cache is NOT EASY due to the terrain.
There is a VERY STEEP SLOPE that leads down to the cache.
Please use caution when going down it and coming back up!
Cache is covered with a few natural objects to hide it, so please make sure you place them back on top of the cache. (So the pesky Zombies wont find and steal the cache..haha)
Also, please do NOT go after this cache after dark!
(Daytime caching only, please!)
The local cops are known to patrol this huge cemetery at night..(they are probably on patrol for what else but...Zombies!..haha)
And besides, you probably wouldnt want to be here after dark---when the flesh eating, ghoulish Zombies come out...haha
Speaking of Zombies, this is my 2nd Zombie cache placed here at this cemetery.
And this is the 3rd Zombie cache overall at the cemetery.
My 1st cache was called "Zombie Alert!!" (GC107NP)--and I hid it in January 2006.
I ended up archiving it due to the container not staying waterproof (probably the pesky Zombies kept tinkering with it, making it not waterpoof..haha)
The 2nd Zombie cache here was hidden from my good buddy and geo-neighbor Dakender in March 2010, and it was called "Alert, Zombies are Back!" (GC25MDE)
His kept on getting stolen...and we are both convinced it was once again, the work of those pesky Zombies...haha.
So today my buddy Dakender and I were at this cemetery (and a couple other cemeteries)----working on a very cool local genealogy project.
I told Alan I wanted to hide another Zombie cache here and I had a spot already scoped out--but I hadnt yet cruised over here to hide a container.
He mentioned he had his geo-kit in the geo-car and asked if I wanted to use one of his containers to hide one.
That sounded cool, and before ya know it---I traversed down the steep slope, hid the cache, took coords and Whoala!.....new Zombie cache in place and ready for action!
Hope the pesky Zombies leave this new cache alone this time...haha
Dont forget your geo-pen/geo-pencil!
Good Luck and Enjoy!
And....Beware of the Zombies!
Cache on my friends....
