Geocache Description:

As 2012 winds down and we enter the final month of December, what better time could there be for a gathering of friends, of fellow geocachers; full of stories, tips and hints, willing to share these with one another?

An event cache is another way of getting together with other cachers and sharing adventures, talking about GPSr's, sharing tips and tricks, swapping stories, as well as trading, swapping or discovering TBs, Geocoins and having  fun!!

Then, there’s the whole world of Geochallenges, in particular, the SA Trig Beacon Series. Come and learn about this exciting aspect of geocaching.

If you’ve never attended an event before you have to do the following:
1.) On the listing page you need to go to "Log Your Visit" and choose "Will Attend" and mention the number of people in your party. This way we'll know how many cachers to plan for and the space we'll need at the venue.
2.) After attending the event, you go back home and log it, choosing the "Attended" log. Type about your experience, and that's it, another cache under your belt!

You may want to add this event to your watchlist to check on any updates that may take place between now and 08/12/2012.

A lot of us live in or near White River / Nelspruit, so we have chosen:

  • Venue: The Wild Cherry Restaurant, White River.  (S 25° 18.451 E 031° 01.771)

  • Date: Saturday 8 December 2012

  • Time: From 17h00 until whenever.

There are a lot of newbies around and we’d love to meet you. Come and have a drink and something to eat if you want. Kids are welcome. All costs are for the attendee's own account.
