Geocache Description:

***The coordinates above are bogus and there is no cache there***

Have you ever found “treasure” while out geocaching? Is there that ammo can around you where all the cool trade items and travel bugs are exchanged? Let’s say you’re at a geocaching event cache and there’s a big prize given away to a winner of a game put together by the host. You’ll need a strategy that can be executed in order to win, just like you’ll need to acquire the coordinates for this cache.

North Coordinate Puzzle:

250 chairs are set up at a geocaching event for a game hosted by SuhStomp90. A large cash prize is given to the winner and the last person remaining in their chair. The first person in the first chair is “in”, the second person in the second chair is then “out” and must leave their chair. The third person is then “in”, while the fourth person is “out”. This pattern continues until only one person is left sitting in their chair. In order to win the prize, what chair would you need to sit in?

N 39 21.XXX (Substitute the number you found for the X’s, then add 99)

West Coordinate Puzzle:

A group of local geocachers are hosting their annual “Bark in the Park” event, where geocachers bring their dogs to cache and socialize. After the event, the hosts notice that there could be some bogus logs online of people claiming “attended” finds when they did not show up for the event. The hosts recall counting 74 heads and 196 legs at the event (excluding them). Based on the information given, how many geocachers and how many geodogs attended the event?

W 084 16.XXX (Multiply the number of people by the number of dogs, then subtract 424 to get the final three digits)

NOTE: Parking for this cache may or may not be limited, depending on business hours. Attempting this cache on weekdays between 9 and 5 would give you parking, otherwise, you’ll need a buddy to drop you off and run down to this one.
