Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in a small rocky outcrop about 150m from the road/track, in open gum forest with light undergrowth, sturdy boots recomended.

The cache lies about 150m from the track/road, the co-ordinates mark the spot where the cache is hidden, and the following will point you in the right direction.

About 100m SE beyond the front gate you will find a shallow gully. The cache is about another 50m further on across the gully, hidden in a stony outcrop. The cache is a clear cylindrical Tupperware type container of about 2l copacity.

  • This cache should be able to be accessed in most road vehicles, however a 4WD would be advised if inclement weather is expected, and is a must if you wish to explore some of the tracks that acces the other historic sites in this area.

    Plan a weekend and camp by the river at the old township site just below the area where the cache is hidden.
